Discipline

I think I might need a schedule... It's important to write a little bit everyday, even when feeling unmotivated. ESPECIALLY when feeling unmotivated.

I just finished reading yet another book, to light the fire under my @ss. The book has the most gimmicky name ever, "Unfu*k Yourself," by Gary John Bishop. It was a Prime Day deal for $7. I knew it was going to be fluff, but in the off-chance there was a modicum of inspiration, I read it. And here we are!

"Stop doing all that sh*t you know you shouldn't be doing and start doing all the sh*t you know you should be doing. All of it." - Gary John Bishop

While I am completely DONE with this book, the one nugget to take home is to stop procrastinating and start taking action. I hated the book, frankly, because the author rehashes everything we ALREADY know! That said, the truth is I waste a ton of time that could be better utilized.

Act NOW!

"You are not your thoughts. You are your actions. You are what you do." - Gary John Bishop

I think it was Isaac Newton who said something like, a body in motion stays in motion. Well, even though I suck at videos, there is SO much to be learned and it can only get easier over time. The issue is putting in the time, having discipline to make a little bit of progress every day. That way I can gain some momentum. I can't wait for inspiration to strike or to feel more confident about my abilities. That day may never come...

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Photography was my hobby as a kid and it was really special because not everybody had a camera.  Or maybe they "had one," but I actually took photos and developed them.

Let the posts
come to you.
